Bike to Work Program

Picture
Need:
If you need a bicycle for transportation, please let us know. We have a short waiting list and will add your name and requirements, i.e., male bike.

Donation:
Donating your old or a new bike will provide transportation to those struggling. Or you may donate bicycle parts, i.e., seats, chains, tires, tubes, chains, and locks, for repairs to be made.

Recycle:
When those who benefited from the Bike to Work Program are able to move to move into a vehicle, they donate their bicycle back for others.

Adult Bicycles are

Helping Our Community

As connections are made though NSRC Job Seekers and employment is found, an adult bicycle is a simple, yet practical mode of transportation to get to and from work.

We are a NSRC Bike to Work Program partner assisting in the transportation needs of many who struggle to find a way to/ from work or even job interviews.

We accept donations of bicycles and bicycle parts for in-house repairs.

Read this article from the Lebanon Democrat about Dale Hackett, a former Bike to Work Program participant.

None of this would be possible without our wonderful Volunteers

from the Cumberland University Cycling Club

The student cyclists volunteer their time and expertise to repair and maintain the bicycles that are donated. We are grateful to them in assisting us in making it possible for those struggling to have transportation through the Bike to Work Program.
If you want to learn more about them or their cycling team, check out their Facebook page.
